Galvanized Steel Wire for Armouring of Power Cables, Tests and Standards

Everbright supplies galvanized steel wire used for armouring of power cables. We supply this special wire meeting specific technical requirements: the wire diameter, tensile strength, elongation rating, zinc coating and resistivity requests. All the gal. steel wire for cables armoring shall also pass dip test, torsion test, wrapping test and adherence test.

This specification specifies the requirements of Galvanized steel Wire for armouring of Power Cables.

Coil Steel Wire for Cable Reinforcing

MATERIALS:

Steel Wire shall satisfy the related Chinese or International Standards.
The armouring materials shall have a smooth surface, uniform diameter, free from the scratches, black spot, pimples, rust strain and other irregularities.

The material shall satisfy the following requirements:

a) Inner Dia - 500±25 mm
b) Outer Dia- 600±25mm

Galvanized wire for Armouring of cables shall be supplied in coils. All the coils shall be tied at minimum four places. Each coil shall be wrapped with water proof material.

MARKING:

All the coils shall carry the labels with the following information :

i)Name of the Manufacturer
ii)Coil No.
iii) Size wire
iii)Net Weight

The following specification specifies the requirements of Galvanized steel Wire for armouring of Power Cables.

Armouring Steel Wire shall satisfy the specification no. BS:6724 & BS-5467- 1997

The armouring materials shall have a smooth surface, uniform diameter, free from the

The galvanized wire special for armoring of power cables shall satisfy the following requirements:
